Favourite resources

These are some of my favourite resources that I use frequently, but also some good reads that I've found and revisit from time to time. They contain not only informative, but also entertaining material.

  1. Paul Graham's Essays. Especially the "how to lose time and money" was an eye-opener for me.
  2. April Cool's Club: Every year, a participant produces genuine content that's very different from their normal produced content. As an example, this is a great debugging story: The Wi-Fi only works when it's raining.
  3. Technology radar: Discover emerging tools in the software industry. Each tool has been classified by the community depending on the maturity and adoption level it has reached. It's a good point of reference for our hype-driven era.
  4. The Grug Brained Developer: Grug brain forgets, so grug brain writes. Grug gives advice, so young grugs get programmer wisdom.
  5. Making hard things easy: Julia's approach to improving oneself to their craft.
  6. HTMX memes: Hopefully this triggers you to learn more about HATEOAS.
  7. YCombinator's hacker news: An all-time classic blog to delve into.
  8. Language is a Bottleneck for Thought: The definitive case in favor of headjacks?
